The Orbat's Tale, Part 1

So I decided to try a new thing. This isn't my first attempt at making a comic, but it's my first attempt at making a comic that isn't complete shit. But yeah, this is basically Zaabo and Vale's backstory. This isn't gonna be very long, probably only two or three pages, but hopefully this'll turn out okay.

Whimsical Fuckery

So I realized recently that most of my stuff has been archetypical fantasy stuff, which was fun to play around with but didn't really make it that interesting and was lacking my usual stupidity/humor/whimsy. So I decided to fix that. Also, shitty worldbuilding comic!

GOASTS

Finally colored that one smaller picture, mostly as a warm-up for coloring another, much more ambitious picture. I did try to fool around with shading a bit though. My tablet pen's working again, yay!

This was originally gonna be what happens in Fuga and Vale's first adventure in the tower, but I changed my mind because it was a bit too boring. Instead, their first adventure (which I'm finally making decent progress on writing) basically involves the two being hired by the King of Slime to fight a golem that's been roaming throughout the tower trying to exterminate all the monsters on the lower floors IN THE NAME OF JUSTICE.

Minor update

Don't have Sai or a working tablet pen anymore, so I'm fiddling with Gimp and coloring with a mouse to touch up and color shit. I'm unsure of this color scheme for the plant dragon, but oh well.

Ho, ho, ho

Felt like updating my blog at least one more time before the new year, so doodles it is. It wasn't just my general lack of productivity or slow rate of work that kept me from updating the past few months though: I had a drawing class this semester, and it basically just destroyed my desire to draw, ever. Now that it's over my will might return though.

Also, apologies for the smudges and quality. My laptop died and I'm on a Mac, and I have no idea what I should use for that since Sai doesn't work.

Chronicle doodlings

Been drawing a lot of stuff lately for Chronicle. Lately I've realized I don't draw my characters frequently enough, so I've just been drawing them doing THINGS. So here's some of the critters and characters for this little story thing.

Haven't started on the next chapter of it yet though; been occupying myself otherwise. I have a fun idea for it though!
